JVC have officially launched two new projectors at IFA 2008 the DLA HD350 and the HD750. CineNow was lucky enough to see these projectors at the beginning of August but were not allowed to reveal the new projector until JVC had done so at this years IFA 2008.
The HD350 has a 15000:1 contrast ratio and the HD750 will have a 30000:1 contrast ratio. Both models will also feature dual HDMI inputs 1.3a and full HD (1920 × 1080) resolution. Also both the HD350 and HD750 have a V stretch mode for use with an anamorphic lens. Colour management and 12v trigger is a key feature on the HD750. You now have motorised lens shift with 80% plus or minus on the vertical and 34% on the horizontal lens shift. You also have a motorised lens cover to stop any unwanted dust entering the projector.
The projectors are smaller and sexier than previous JVC models. The HD35O is available from October and the HD750 will be available from November. No prices are known at this time but as the HD350 will sit between the HD1 and HD100 that should give you a good idea of price. The DLA-HD750, will be priced above the HD100.
