Opus have launched a sexy new wallpad for their 500 multiroom system. The WCU600 costs £575 and can display video from DVD, TV or CCTV systems and has an onscreen menu to access audio/video servers, iPod docks and anything else you can think of.
It’s high contrast, backlit, 16 million colour 3.5" display is crystal clear and can be fully customised.
Designed to seamlessly control both the Opus 500 system and a number of third party lighting and other smart home products.The keypad can easily be customised by connecting a laptop to the USB port hidden under the faceplate.Opus software enables icons, colours and other features to be tailored to the user’s home. Changes to volume, bass, treble and balance can be made by accessing the on-screen menu, and a special ‘party mode’ allows the user to adjust the same music or video source across the home.
The Opus WCU600 does not only allow you to control the whole house but will enable you to control you home cinema room with Video playback allowing the user to cue up DVDs, browse an iPod or music servers on the screen and view CCTV feeds.
