At CES this year we got a chance to see the three latest babies by the Swedish brand DLS.
First there was a pair of M66 floorstanding 2.5-way towers. DLS manufactures its own drivers—in the case of the M66, they are a 28mm fabric dome tweeter and two 6" aluminum midrange/woofers with polypropylene surrounds. “The polypropylene damps the aluminum’s tendency to ring,” said Andersen. Very smart!
These beauties are driven by the new DLS Amplifier One and DLS CD One which will be out in the course of this year.
