What Hi*Fi Sound & Vision 2005 : Tom Dunmore Editor-in-Chief STUFF

21 novembre 2005

Analysis of this year's Salon and what made it such a success

Tom Dunmore, Editor-in-Chief STUFF Magazine & Haymarket Consumer Online gave us his insight (on Day2) about the 2005 edition and explains part of the strategy the Group has put in place to create such the exceptional atmosphere at the Show. Their approach has clearly broadened the attendance from the historical "hard core" audiophile to attract the broadbased consumer and true general public to get them come through the doors and see the products, as reflected by the large number of  couples that were seen this year learning about the new products while having a nice afternoon.  Lots of food for thought for other organizations...

Tom discusses the STUFF "lifestyle" approach to creating the COOL LIST of those products that are the real "Must-Have", particularly as we approach the holiday seaason, and highlights some of his favorites.  And finally, he talks about the vast international development over he past couple of years of the magazines STUFF and What Hi-Fi, which are additional proof that their strategy is on target.
