Our last day aboard the "Carnival Glory"...

Home Cinema Acoustical Problems

This interactive presentation listed all acoustical treatments that are applied within the frame of a typical Home Cinema installation.


The Battle between formats: HD DVD & Blu-ray Disc (BD)
12:00pm-2:00pm Scott Bates, Deluxe Digital Studios -  Mark Knox,HD-DVD Promotion Group - Joe Kane, Joe Kane Productions - Patrick Watson, Digital Theater Systems (DTS) - Craig Eggers, Dolby Laboratories - Amir Majidimehr, Microsoft Windows Digital Media Division
A large discussion that showed all aspects of this competition and the final impact on end users.


Final session : Q&As
3:00pm-5:00pm
It is now traditional of the Home Theater Cruise: all participants and speakers are gathering for a Q&A session. All passionate attendants were present, naturally.


Closing and Auction ceremony for the benefit of the ELF Foundation
6:30pm-7:30pm
Last cocktail and the traditional ELF Foundation auction, thanks to the generosity of many manufacturers: Yamaha, Lumagen, Runco, Stewart Filmscreen, Denon, Monster, Lexicon, Monitor Audio, D-Box, Furman, Bag End. As every year, Anchors Away proposed a cabin for next year's cruise.


The painting was also proposed for sale to support the ELF Foundation.

Coming close now to our final destination, we say good bye and assure that we are already booked the Home Theater Cruise 2006.

Once back in Paris we will be encoding and uplaoading on our servers all the film clips we have done with lots of interesting subjects which you will be able to see in streaming video as well as ou "traditional" Photo Report of the Home Theater Cruise 2005
