Take a look at what's coming !
At the IFA this year a stand was organized by the Blu-ray Disc Association, supported by a large number of major manufacturers including Apple, Dell, HP, Hitachi, LG, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Philips, Pioneer, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, TDK, Thomson, Verbatim where you could see presented a series of seven new players, several with exciting styles and designs what (may or will ???) replace our dear DVD, but in any case that are going to be available in the coming weeks and months in the local stores.
With the advent of HDTV , the advantages of the higher disk storage space (about 5 to 6 times our "old" DVD depending on the format) is clear, but the battle of the formats is AGAIN raging between this and the "other" alternatives, provoking skepticism among consumers who certainly don't want to replay the BETAMAX/VHS game. In addition, the joker is from Big Bill who has announced that in any case :
“Blu-Ray and HD-DVD will be the last ever physical data storage formats and that streaming of data will become the predominant form of delivery in years to come”
Confused? Well, be patient, somethig will finally come out of all this... Only when remains a mystery...
