JBL Studio L Series loudspeakers

22 juin 2005

JBL's Studio L Series loudspeakers’ characteristics are extended installation options and a contemporary design.
This series actually comprises:

L810 and L820 bookshelf/wall monitors’ L830 compact bookshelf loudspeaker L880 and L890 floorstanding towers Two dedicated LC1 and LC2 (wall-mountable) center channel speakers L8400P, a 12-inch, 600-watt subwoofer.

Studio L Series loudspeakers (except the L8400P sub) come with an ultrahigh-frequency transducer allowing up to 40kHz extended frequency response. A Mylar diaphragm provides open and detailed high-frequency reproduction – “airy” effect. With this, an array of technology (encompassing ultrahigh-frequency transducer, pure-titanium dome etc., all using a technology that delivers the same response on- and off-axis) results in the sound pointing toward the listening area for very accurate localization.
The woofers and midrange drivers used in the Studio L Series use JBL’s PolyPlas cone material to attenuate cone resonances, higher playback levels without distortion, and smooth frequency response.

All Studio L Series loudspeakers (except the L820, LC2 and L8400P sub) incorporate JBL’s FreeFlow port technology for extended low-frequency response and improved efficiency.

Finish: black-ash, cherry, and beech.
US prices (per pair) range from USD 550 to USD 1398
