Philips brand new digital AV receiver DFR-9000

Available in April at the price of £400, the DFR-9000 is the first ever digital, multi-channel receiver from the Eindhoven company.

The connectivity is up to most sophisticated requirements with 2 x component video input, 1x component video output, progressive, 3x S-video/CVBS input, S-Video/CVBS out, 3 x digital co-axial in, 1 X HDMI out, and 2 x HDMI in. in addition, 8-channel multi-channel in and lots of connections for speakers are available.

The device is provided with HDMI connectivity. It is constructed with high quality material for the chassis and features DTS ES decoders and Dolby Digital EX. Faroudja DCDi processing and 1080i resolution equipped, the power capacity stands at 2X110 W and 6X65 W audio outputs. It comes equipped with an integrated Audio DAB radio.
