Rotel to launch slim 7.1 Power Amplifier

”COM” or “Controlled Oscillation Modulation”, that adds stability out of a switching digital power supply, and “MECC” or “Multivariable Enhanced Cascade Control” which is a circuit design (power supply and circuits “cooperate” to enhance efficiency) are at the core of the newly announced Rotel RMB-1077 Power Amplifier.

The device delivers 700 Watts in seven separate channels of 100 W each. It is a very slim machine –just about 6cm (2in) high- that is able to compete with sometimes (or, better, very often) largely more expensive products. Its Home friendly, very discreet look should be appealing for anyone whose obsession is NOT to have his (her) living invaded by big boxes and wires…
