Phocus Electronics , a Dutch born company, is a very recent creation. They aims at developing LCD and plasma flat screen TVs for the European market. The company anticipates sales over 300 million EUROS for the year 2005. In addition to its home Dutch market, it is already present in Germany , UK , Spain and Italy . It will soon open its French affiliate.
Phocus Electronics is partnering with a solid industrial partner (BEKO). It already markets a wide range of flat screen TVs (plasma, LCD and combo DVD/LCD) but also cathodic tube TVs.
A dozen of LCD TV references are already available in 17, 20, 23, 26, and 30” and one 42” Plasma screen. As for the plasma series, a 50” is to be launched soon.

Although Phocus Electronics offers last generation products only, the company's tariffs look quite attractive and position the brand as one of the less pricey in the flat screen market. On the French market, a 42” Plasma will cost you 1999 EUROS only. As for the offer for LCD TV, they come at 499 EUROS for a 20”, 899 EUROS for a 23”, 999 EUROS for a 26”, and finally 1299 EUROS for the 30” model.
Phocus Electronics is being referenced among the specialist distributors and retailers, Europe wide. An ad campaign as well as the participation in the specialist magazines tests are also planned.
