The Cinego D-1000 Instant Home Theater System, revealed today at CES, incorporates a
DVD player and sound system with DLP projection and a Carl Zeiss D9-Home optical
engine. The Cinego D-1000 is a CES Best of Innovations 2005 Honoree. It will be
available exclusively at select RadioShack Corporation stores in early 2005 with a MSRP
of $1,249.99.

Runco will demonstrate its Video Xtreme™ VX-2c Projection System, which won the Custom Retailer 2004 Excite Award. This 16:9 DLP 3-chip projector includes Runco's LiveLink™ technology for transmitting DVI pure signals over 120 feet without any signal quality loss or bandwidth degradation. Runco's DHD™ Digital Video Controller, which enhances the video reproduction capabilities of its projectors, may be found in the Video Xtreme VX-2c, VX-4c, and VX-6c, as well as the Reflection™ Series VX-1000D, VX-4000D and VX-5000D Projection Systems
Runco will also showcase its CineWide™ technology, which enables Runco's line of DLP projectors to display movies in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio in their full original quality. Samsung- Booth 11024, Central Hall, LVCC
Samsung will show attendees its first 1080p DLP TV - the 56" HLP5688W due to hit the market in Feb/March with an MSRP of $5,200. This pedestal DLP TV provides super-high (1920x1080) resolution and progressive scanning for matchless video-image quality. The 3000:1 contrast ratio keeps colors lifelike and vibrant, while Samsung's enhanced Digital Natural Image Engine (DNIeä) takes the signal from any kind of input and turns it into stunning picture. The set is Digital Cable Ready (DCR) with a built-in CableCARD eliminating the need for a set-top box for digital cable program viewing.
SIM2- Suite 2910, Las Vegas Hilton
SIM2 will demonstrate its Grand Cinema HT500 E-Link and HT500 E, the first DLP 3-chip projectors on the market to feature HD2+ technology with contrast ratios exceeding 4300:1. These E-volution projectors feature SIM2 Live Color Management, second-generation DCDi™ video processing and HDMI™ inputs; while the HT500 E-Link also includes a DVI input and SIM2s DigiOptic™ Image Processor.
SIM2 will also unveil at CES its new EVSX1 DLP projector, featuring SXGA+ 1400x1050 resolution, and a 2500:1 contrast ratio.
Sharp Electronics Corporation- Booth 11014, Central Hall, LVCC
Sharp today introduced four new stylish, widescreen rear-projection HDTVs featuring
DLP technology. Available in 56- and 65-inch screen sizes, the quartet has a unique
“V” shape design with a flat panel appearance, and the powerful DLP picture
quality for which Sharp has become so well known in the Front Projector category.
Sharp will introduce the SharpVision® XV-Z12000 high-definition DLP projector, which features DLP HD2+ technology, Sharp's Computer & Video Integrated Composer (CV-IC) System II technology, a native resolution of 1280x720 pixels and an unprecedented 5500:1 contrast ratio (in high contrast mode). The X-Z12000 is available now for a MSRP of $11,999.95.
Sharp is also debuting the XV-Z2000 portable DLP projector with 720p resolution, a high contrast ratio of 2500:1 and a brightness level of 1200 ANSI lumens. The XV-Z2000 is available now for a MSRP of $4,499.99.
TCL-Thomson Electronics- Booth 14007, Central Hall, LVCC
TCL-Thomson Electronics is expanding its lineup of DLP HDTV Sets with the introduction of 10 new models, integrated Digital Cable Ready RCA Scenium HDTV models in screen sizes ranging from 44 inches to 61 inches diagonal with suggested retail prices starting under $2,000. The innovative 175 series boasts a new form factor for microdisplay technology featuring a dynamic "floating screen" design and ultra-thin screen frame that emphasizes the picture. The breakthrough technology of the RCA Scenium Profiles ultra-thin HDTV was honored with the 2005 CES Best of Innovations Award for outstanding digital display. RCA Scenium Profiles line will expand in 2005 to include a 50-inch version with a suggested retail price of $4,999.

Toshiba will showcase its full line-up of 10 DLP TVs, including the 62HMX94 Cinema Series® DLP HDTV, a CES Best of Innovations 2005 Honoree. Toshiba also announced that it will expand its portfolio of TheaterWide® and Cinema Series DLP TVs in 2005 to include larger screen sizes, and the new “TALEN X” 1080p Engine – featuring Toshiba's proprietary Digital Light Engine and PixelPure™ for superior picture quality. All 2004 DLP models are available now through retailers nationwide.
Toshiba will demonstrate the TDPMT800 HD DLP, the new TDPMT700 HD DLP and the TDPMT200 ED DLP front projectors featuring DLP HD2+technology. The TDPMT800 ($6,999.99, available now) is geared toward the high-end home theater enthusiast, with 10-Bit Color Depth, a 7-Segment Color Wheel, the Faroudja™ DCDI+ de-interlacer/scaler, two sets of ColorStream® HD component video inputs, and a 2200:1 contrast ratio. The new TDPMT700 ($3,499.99, available in March) also features a native 1280x720 resolution, but includes a six segment 5x Color Wheel, an HDMI™ input, and offers a 2000:1 contrast ratio. The TDPMT200 DLP home theater projector ($1,799.99, available now) features a native 480p resolution, DVI with HDCP for full HD signals, and a 2000:1 contrast ratio.

ViewSonic will introduce the PJ755D DLP projector, which delivers a 2000:1 contrast ratio, 2700 lumens and a native XGA resolution. The versatile PJ755D weighs 7.5 pounds with multiple connectivity options, including integrated DVI-HDCP, composite video, component video and S-video. The PJ755D is available now for an estimated street price of $2,299.
Yamaha- Booth 9844, Central Hall, LVCC
Yamaha will unveil the DPX-1200, its fourth-generation DLP projector with 720P DarkChip3™ technology. The high-performance DPX-1200 delivers a 5000:1 contrast ratio, brightness levels up to 800 lumens, a 1.6x motorized zoom lens for flexibility in projector placement, and Yamaha's Natural Color Adjustment system which fine tunes the picture. The DPX-1200 will be available in February for $12,495.
