Dark Side of the Room

For more than a year already, a small group of aficionados from the French city of Lyon has been sharing its passion for Home Theater. Created on January 1st 2002 by three young businessmen and passionates, the DSR Research Department designs and installs dedicated rooms for their clients, and also integrates Home Theater systems within living rooms, bedrooms… well, any room!

After two years spent on marketing researches, planning their business and making contacts, Marc-Etienne, Jean-Jacques and Stéphane have created a light and active structure, focused on their clients' desires. Specialized in integration, acoustic, projection and domotic, the DSR crew also creates work offices and rest areas for private enterprises.


Integration within a room already existing.

Dark Side of the Room can operate on the blueprints of a house in construction, as well as integrate a system within an already existing home. They are in charge of the full concept in order to create easy to operate, custom Home Theater systems without any compromise in quality.

- Tuning & set up of the Audio/video system, equalisation.
- Universal pre-cabling, integration & concealment within already existing rooms.
- Installation of DOMOTIC systems (from a simple light control up to a "thinking house").
- Video broadcast, inner TV, satellite or cable in the whole house.
- Programming of universal tactile remote controls.
- Graphical study of the inner installation, decoration and architecture.
- Acoustical study, analyse and correction. Sonic isolation.
