Don’t Miss This!!!

A number of owners of Home Cinema systems have learned, with stupor, of the presence of a bug in two of the American brand’s latest integrated machines, the R-863R and the R-963R, that appear to be afflicted with a problem entailing the detection of signals in certain DSP modes when in “stereo” setting.

The symptom is the following: of the 12 DSP modes, five “crash” when the user chooses to listen in stereo mode (see below for direction of how to solve problem). Once the mode is selected, the sound reproduced is distorted, preventing the user from listening correctly to the audio tracks.

In any case, the headquarters if Sharwood have been alerted to this problem and are looking for permanent solutions for the bug. If you’re one of those who’ve been hit by this problem, try the following:

1. Switch the amplifier into Mode "Digital/PCM" or "Digital/Auto/PCM",
2. Choose one of the 5 following DSP’s: "Movie, Hall2, Club2, Arena2, Game",
3. Place an audio CD in the DVD player,
4. Bug Manifests itself – Manipulation – “Normal and Daily” – To disactivate the bug, choose another DSP or choose “analogue” mode and then come back to “digital”.

To be continued...
