10 inches of happiness for this portable DVD Player by Samsung. The Korean giant doesn’t miss a trick, and is this time attacking the market for portable images.
In a few words, you’ll find here a machine whose technical specifications will turn a few portable DVD manufacturers green with envy:…

- A ten inch LCD screen in 16/9 format,
- Compatibility with data in HDCD and MP3,
- A video processor using Progessive Scan,
- Less than 1.5 kilos on the scales - 3 choices of different batteries which are sold as options – either 2, 4 or 6 hours,
- Integrated Memory stick Port, allowing the user to watch the images captured on a digital camera, MP3 Player or Digital Video Camera,
- S-video & composite outputs, accompanied for the audio section by an RCA plug and an optical output, all proposed directly on the machine itself, and not through an external box!!



If, during the CES someone had asked me to choose a "favourite" product, it would have been this one. The DVD-L100 will, according to the manufacturer, be available in March for a price of around US $1,400.
