The company FVS, who currently import and distribute a large range of products, are offering, in their 2001/2002 catalogue, a series of electronic security accessories aimed at protecting video projectors.

It’s in fact with the references Cinesafe 1 and Cinesafe 2 that you can now procure this type of product from your local retailer – a highly useful item when you think how sensitive the projector’s lamp is to fluctuations in power supply.
Thus, just as we’d protected our beloved PC equipment in the home office, now we can do the same in the living room with this projection gear. These ondulators are placed upstream of the installation and work on a constant regulation of the power current, acting on any type of electrical variation and stopping any alterations that may be fatal for the machine (surges, overvoltage, blackouts, lightning, etc.).

Cinesafe 1 and 2 dispose of a respective storage capacity of 500 VA and 1000 VA, which are sufficient to keep your video projector running for a number of minutes. In addition, each of these units also has an alarm signalling any kind of electric aggression, with an LCD screen on the front panel allowing the total control of the system (capacity, overload, etc.).

These two accessories are available from all good retailers at a price of 350 and 455 Euros.
