Playing with the Big Kids

This Nordic manufacturer is beginning, little by little, to embellish the heart of some of our of our hi fi and home cinema installations. It is in fact the allure, the presence and the quality components as well as the price that today are the major attributes of this new challenger, which is coming up against some of the big fish on the marketplace.

Nevertheless, the presence of Dantax at the Weekend Hi-fi and home cinema exhibition isn’t susprising because, little by little, the bird is making its nest. The manufacturer was thus able to exhibit its entire range of speakers and electronic gear over a large space. One could find different packs such as the Blockbuster, the Elysée, the Opéra, the Opus as well as branded DVD players.

Furthermore, the exhibited a new prototype, a 5.1 pack, in an attempt to be highly competitive… also in terms of design. Remind you of something? – Just the price.

This new-born, still getting its last touches, still may see some aesthetic modifications before being marketed for around 760 Euros - sometime in July 2001.
