Real cable, Axon, Hamy sound - WE home cinema

4 mai 2001

Real cables, Axon and Hamy sound, companies specialising in the marketing of accessories for Home Cinema, have presented their latest wares for the occasion of WE Home Cinema.

Real Cables had a large stand, on which both its old and new ranges of audio-video cables were exhibited. This newcomer in the world of quality interfacing has developed a new generation of cables, among which one can see the latest generation of video cables allowing for linking via BNC and Sub D15, a source and a video projector or plasma screen.

Axon restricted themselves to being well known in the realms of electrical filtering. One could thus see the FPS range representing the greatest part of the manufacturer’s sales, who, by the way, have announced the upcoming release of a correcting multi-adapter at an unbeatable price, based, in part, on the technical specifications of its bigger sisters.

On the other hand, Hamy sound - importer and distributor of around a dozen brands of audio-video materials and accessories, were exhibiting, in the furniture accessories section, their Stand design line, as well as the Supra cable range.

All things being said, the biggest waves were made by the PX 600, an amplifying monster made by Accuphase, which had been long awaited by one and all because it’s the first 6 channel amplifier by the manufacturer. For the occasion, it was accompanied by the Audio analogue Maestro Grand preamplifier, a Mirages OM et FRx speaker system, as well as Vélodyne SPL and HGS bass boxes.
