Exhibiting on more than 1000 m², Samsung will have surprised more than one visitor to CeBIT this year, where we’ve been able to admire again (that is to say after the CES), their new range of video screens.
Following an important effort in terms of technological development, the Korean manufacturer today disposes of a range of video equipment able to face up to pretty well any competitor. This new player in the market of home entertainment is thus counting upon this new video range to reach a much broader spread of consumers.
The public discovered a new series of plasma screens destined for the greater public, including a 33 inch screen (SPD-37P15) whose specifications are more than tempting, as well as the SPD-63P1HM, a 62 inch screen, weighing around 72 kilos for a minimum thickness of 8.3 cm, including a "latest generation" panel, as well as HDTV processing.
Within the range of 42 inch screens, there are three new references, for which HDTV is also on the menu. Other new items being at the show include a full new range of high definition LCD digital rear projectors. We even had the surprise of seeing the 25” RPM, a 25 inch screen destined for the general public – one of the smallest screens on the market to include an HDTV tuner.
We’ll soon be dedicating a complete dossier on this new range.
