Not POS, but POW - Point of WATCHING!...

Among the latest trends is one which could add a decorative touch to one’s Home Cinema room.

Not always easy to flush out the rare, corresponding object, without succumbing to the reprehensible temptation to "lift" the Dolby Plaque or a film poster from the local movie theatre in order to adorn one’s own walls, all too often devoid of decoration befitting the circumstances. We have, effectively, received a number of e-mails in this regard from our readers keen to find ways to overcome this problem.
You should thus know that in order to avoid creating too much aggro. for your projectionist, it’s now possible (and has been for a little while), to find, through a few specialised outlets as well as on the web, decorative accessories such THX posters, Dolby or DTSplaques, etc… all the kinds of things you thought were only reserved for the pros.

The official sites of Dolby, DTS and THX also propose, on-line, the sale of their accessories. You can thus find, through Dolby and DTS, the plaques with gilded lettering, as well as numerous posters edited by the sound giant THX.

Moreover, it’s worth noting that these brands also propose lists of clothing adorned with their logos (you pay for the right to wear it, and at the same time do their advertising for them!). In any case, you get to show everyone that you’re a Home Cinema Buff.

In any case, for those of you who prefer to offer their Home Cinema an entirely different décor, it is also possible to find, in certain outlets, figurines and resin statuettes (mostly hand made and numbered) that represent the heroes of your films or favourite cartoons!

A manufacturer of numbered figurines has especially merited our attention in this respect (I have to say that I am personally a fervent client).
