It’s finally happened: Microsoft has unveiled the final lines of the future Xbox.

As we had already indicated in our news of 18th October 2000, the X-box is already becoming something akin to a myth, its much-awaited characteristics appearing to be revolutionary. Considered by one and all to be the direct competitor to the PSX-2 and the future Game Cube by Nintendo (the Dreamcast having unfortunately been neglected by Sega, despite its performance levels), the beast from the company sporting a Butterfly as its mascot had up until now been one of those stars that had avoided the limelight.

It should be noted that very few elements have been modified by Microsoft since the presentation to members of the press of its technical characteristics: Pentium III processor, running at 733 MHz, almost 64 Mb of RAM, a DVD Player... in brief, all one should need to unseat the revered PSX-2… but is Bill Gates hiding something?

Notwithstanding, the official release has been pushed back to a date which is, for the moment, not fixed yet. In any case, while waiting to get your hands on one, for the moment, you can admire the photo!
