A pack for the PSX2

To celebrate the New Year, the major Japanese Home Entertainment company have broadenned their range, launching a new Home Cinema pack for the general public: the HTK 215.

This new system, dedicated to small listening surfaces, includes electronics capable of managing double decoding - Dolby Digital and DTS, in a small module (around the size of a ream of A4 paper), associated with an amplifying section allowing for an output of almost 50 watts per channel.

The 5 small satellite speakers (anamagnetic) of less than 10 cm in height, and the active bass box of 25 watts have dimensions allowing them to be easily integrated into most rooms.

Note also that the pack is perfectly suited to any kind of audio-video source, such as DVD or even the Playstation 2. The proposed interfacing is complete, with an optical input allowing the machine to be connected to a digital source and to transport the audio message to the decoders. For the transfer of analogue streams, 3 inputs are available. A video section is also included in the system, allowing it to direct the video stream from the source towards the diffuser indifferently through composite or S-video interfaces.

The HTK 215 is already available in Europe, for a price of around 533 Euros and is an excellent solution for neophytes to get a taste of the pleasures of Home Cinema.
