The British headphone brand Sonixx has launched the X-Touch bluetooth headphones that combine the advantages of freedom of movement without wires to tie you down with an innovative touch-sensitive interface on the right cup that provides effortless control over music and calls with the swipe of a finger. The 40mm neodymium drivers have excellent tuning to provide pitch perfect audio with a thumping bass and detailed high end.

What makes these headphones unique is a clever and intuitive way to control essential playback functions. Instead of multiple buttons, the X-Touch’s smooth, tactile, matt surface incorporates touch gesture controls on the right ear-cup. A simple swipe of your finger upwards increases the volume, a swipe downwards lowers it. A forward-swipe skips to the next track, and a backward-swipe plays the previous one.
Alongside the ‘swipe’ touch controls, a single, easy to locate multi-function button does the rest; press it to power up or down, pair with a new device, or pause your music during playback. The same button even lights up red or blue to indicate power and pairing status. It really couldn’t be simpler.
Compatible with all major brands of smartphones, Sonixx X-Touch features hands-free calling with a discreet, yet crystal clear built-in microphone and a call answer button. When a call comes in, the headphones will automatically pause your music and switch to phone mode. You can answer, redial, reject calls and adjust the volume at the touch of a button. As soon as the call has ended, the music will resume playback.

The X-Touch is easy to link wirelessly with smartphones, tablets, ipod touch, laptops, PC’s… that support Bluetooth audio and is simple to charge via the supplied USB cable.
