Following its earlier launch of the TH-65PB1 65in interactive plasma display, Panasonic revealed the rest of its line-up with the 103in TH-103PB1, the 85in TH-85PB1 both available from April, plus its ‘next generation’ interactive display, the TH-65PB2 and the TH-50PB2, both of which are expected later in May.

The new displays include a built-in PC-free whiteboard function on the 50in and 65in models, which are designed mainly for business and colleges. An electronic pen promises a natural writing experience and users can edit onscreen from a distance – handy for training and demonstrations.

Also announced is a new line-up of ultra short throw projectors with the CW330 Series. The six models are the PT-CW330, CW240, CX300, CW331R, CW241R and CX301R of which the last three come with an interactive feature and dual pen capability which allows users to write directly onto the image without requiring a dedicated interactive whiteboard. Two people can write on the image at the same time using the included infrared pen.

The projectors promise a brightness level of up to 3,100 lumens and a contrast of 8,000:1. The PT-CW330, CW240, CW331R and CW241R are all WXGA models and should be able to project an 80in diagonal image from 60cm away.

Panasonic also announced a new series of LED/Laser combined light source DLP projectors, the Solid Shine series, with four different models. The Full-HD PT-RZ370 and WXGA PT-RW330 are both intended for lecture or boardrooms, while the Full-HD PT-RZ4701 and WXGA PT-RW430 are intended for digital signage and events at exhibitions and include built in features for multiple screen applications. All four projectors feature Digital Link connectivity based on HDbaseT.
