Icon Audio Stereo 20PP Icon Audio Stereo 20PP
It’s based on the original Stereo 20 design by the once-classic British hi-fi company H J Leak from 1955.
Surviving examples of the Stereo 20 can now fetch prices of up to £1,200, , but the Stereo 20PP is available brand new for £500.
It’s a Class A design intended for use in smaller rooms, and with loudspeakers that don’t need a lot of power to drive, since it will only deliver 15 watts per channel.
It comes with Mullard EL84 output valves, ECC83/ECC82 double triode valves, Solen audio capacitors, Teflon-insulated silver-plated wiring and gold-plated input and speaker terminals. It can also be supplied in all-triode form on request.
Also supplied as standard are a headphone amplifier and Perspex valve cover.
The Icon Audio Stereo 20PP is available now.
