Chinese electronics manufacturer Haier has announced that it will begin selling its H320 series of Full HD backlit LED LCD TVs in the UK from September 2011.

The first two models to go on sale will be a 32in and 42in model. Both will include a Freeview HD tuner, 1920×1080p panel, edge-lit LED backlighting, SRS TruSurround XT technology and USB recording functionality.
The USB recording facility allows you to record any programme direct to a USB stick. You can also use the TimeShift function to pause, rewind or fast forward the programmes you’re watching.
Four HDMI inputs are also included in both models for connecting external devices such as a Blu-ray player or games consoles.
The company is better known for its refrigerators than its TVs and it’s expected that the H320 models will launch at budget prices, though these are TBA.
