The Monitor Audio GX speaker range has been unveiled at CES.

Intended to replace the existing GS range, the new speakers include a new C-CAM Ribbon transducer design, which promises extension up to 60KHz. The larger models include a new 6.5in bass driver with RST profile C-CAM cone and all are encased in a die-cast alloy driver chassis with single bolt-through driver fixings for improved bracing, rigidity and driver/baffle de-coupling.
HiVe port technology promises better transient response and tighter bass while the die-cast alloy terminal panel includes high quality bi-wire terminals and there’s Pureflow Silver internal cabling throughout.
Curved cabinets reduce the possibility of internal standing waves and all are available in a selection of wood veneers or high gloss piano finishes.
