LG BX327 and BX277 3D projectors

20 août 2010

LG Electronics has announced two 3D projectors for the Korean market with the BX327 and the BX277.

Both DLP models are aimed at the business market for presentations rather than home cinema and come with a 2300:1 contrast ratio, as well as 3D upconversion. They’re both designed to be used with LCD active shutter glasses, and each comes with a single pair included in the price.

Both models include built-in Blu-ray players and can be used connected to a PC, as well as having the ability to accept content direct from a USB memory device. The 3D technology is built onto a single integrated circuit and can upconvert standard 2D content to 3D where necessary. Both also have built-in speakers for presentation use.

LG also claims to have extended lamp life to 5,000 hours, and says that both models are suitable for projecting images of up to 100in, with the high brightness BX327 being particularly well suited for use in brighter office lighting conditions.

No word yet on if or when these models might be coming to the UK but they’re available in Korea from £540 and £700.
