Denon has added two new 3D-ready AV receivers to its line-up with the AVR-2311 and the AVR-3311 (pictured). Both models feature full 3D video connectivity, Anchor Bay Technologies video processing and multi-zone support as well as USB ports with “Works with iPhone” certification.
Both models include HDMI v1.4a inputs with 3D, Audio Return and HDMI control, as well as support for HD decoding and additional channels with Dolby Pro Logic IIz. Both also come with Denon’s Audyssey room calibration system.
The AVR-2311 can power two separate zones from two different sources while the AVR-3311 can be set up to handle three from three sources. The more expensive model also has two HDMI outputs and its Ethernet port can stream Flickr images, as well as accessing audio and photos directly from a networked PC and internet radio stations.
As with all Denon’s new network-enabled receivers, these models carry the ‘Compatible with Windows 7’ branding ensuring full compatibility with the new updated “Play To” functionality of the latest Microsoft operating system.
The Denon AVR-2311 and AVR-3311 will both be available from August for £800 and £1,200 respectively.
