British server specialist Evolve has announced the launch of its new lifeStation media server, which it modestly describes as “the ultimate home entertainment experience”.
Designed and custom built in the UK, the lifeStation offers multi-room access to audio, video, TV on demand, internet radio, photos and more with a hefty 1TB of memory on tap for storage of Blu-ray and hi-res audio.

It includes two TV Tuners so you can watch one channel while recording another, Dolby TrueHD pass-through, audiophile sound output board and a separate power supply option, with the whole shebang running on Evolve’s own operating system built on the Windows 7 64-bit software suite.
The minimalist styling with its distinctive front-loading disc slot is backed by a variety of add-on solutions to allow you to access the content anywhere in your home or outside it via iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Philips Pronto or any computer with an internet connection.
The Evolve lifeStation is available now to order with prices starting at just £3,300 inc VAT.
