LG has announced yet another all-in-one Blu-ray system in the shape of the 2.1 HB45E.
It includes Blu-ray disc player, internet streaming features and an iPod/iPhone dock, as well as offering 1080p upscaling and support for DTS HD audio.
It can access online BD-Live content via an Ethernet connection and also offers streaming content such as YouTube, AccuWeather forecasts and photo site Picasa using LG’s Netcast internet portal.
It also includes DLNA support so it can be used as part of a network and access content from computers or NAS servers.
Each of the two main 150-watt speakers can be twisted to help with precise audio placement and the main unit can be positioned upright or on its side. The package also includes a 150 watt passive sub.
Stephen Gater, Head of Marketing, Home Entertainment, LG UK said: “The HB45E is all about versatility in sound, configuration and content. Stylish design and easy connection between devices in the home is at the heart of this product. People want easy access to an ever-growing range of content – bringing films, photographs, online videos and so much more directly into the living room.”
The LG HB45E is available now for £400.
