The latest addition to the X-Mini family of portable music players is the X-Mini HAPPY.
On the outside, the HAPPY looks pretty much exactly the same as its X-Mini II predecessor, but inside, it’s added an MP3 player and built-in SD/SDHC card slot which can handle cards of up to 8GB.
It has the same 40mm driver and promises 11 hours of audio playback on a single charge, though this drops to six hours if you’re playing directly from the MP3 player. You can still use it as a loudspeaker for your laptop or mobile phone and like the X-Mini II you can daisy chain several HAPPY’s together for stereo or faux surround sound fun.
It has the X-mini Bass Xpansion System (BXS) and extends to amplify the dynamic audio range. A single button controls all functions which include power, volume, pause and track change.
The X-Mini HAPPY is available now from advancedmp3players.co.uk and amazon.co.uk for £50.
