Well regarded Brit hi-fi maven Naim Audio has been approved to receive the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category.
The annual Queen’s Award celebrates the Queen’s birthday and coincides this year with six years of continuous growth in Naim’s export sales, which, considering the state of the world economy, is a significant success story in itself.

The company last won the award in 1985 but it’s the company’s relatively recent rapid growth in exports and expanded R&D team allowing it to speed up product launches which are likely to have been significant factors in helping them to secure the award for a second time.
Managing director Paul Stephenson (pictured back in 1985 with Naim’s late founder, Julian Vereker) said: “We are extremely proud of our British design and engineering heritage and very pleased to be representing the ‘Best of British industry’ around the world."
