Pioneer has announced six new AV receivers for the UK in the shape of the VSX-420, VSX-520, VSX-820, VSX-920, VSX-1020 and VSX-1025, the first three 5.1-channel amps and the last three are 7.1-channel devices.
Each of the new models can support 3D via the newish HDMI 1.4 and can also be upgraded to include wireless Bluetooth audio streaming (except for the entry-level VSX-420).

All except the 420 and 520 are also Works with iPhone certified, and thanks to the Pioneer iControlAV app they can be remote controlled using your iPhone or iPod Touch.
Hi-res audio codecs Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio are available on all but the 420 as is Dolby ProLogic IIz height channel processing.
The higher end VSX-920, VSX-1020 and VSX-1025 also include Pioneer’s own Sound Retriever AIR which is specifically developed for use with Bluetooth sources and internet radio.
All the new models should be available in June with prices ranging from £300-£700.
