Torquay-based audio innovator Orbitsound has unveiled two new products for the spring – the next-generation T12 v2 soundbar and the T4 internet clock radio.
The latest version of the popular T12 includes both optical and coaxial digital connections with 24bit/96KHz compatibility and has a new remote control with improved functionality. It also boasts improved power efficiency (0.75 watts on standby, idling power less than 3 watts).
Like its predecessor, the new T12’s airSOUND technology promises an ‘infinite sweet spot’ with stereo sound delivered throughout the room. It also includes a top-mounted iPod dock and comes with an additional subwoofer for £280.
Also due in spring is the T4 internet radio which connects to the web via Wi-Fi to deliver up to 10,000 internet radio stations and includes presets for ten DAB and ten FM channels. The backlit clock display can be programmed to deliver two sets of alarms and there’s an iPod dock on top as well, all for £150.
