Samsung has announced a new line of one-box Blu-ray systems at CES 2010.
All three of the new models include Samsung’s upgraded Internet@TV service, with Samsung Apps, which offers music videos via Muzu.TV and LoveFilm movie rental as well as social networking, news and games services. Each of the systems also includes DNLA connectivity for home network connection.
Top of the range is the HT-C6730, which features Blu-ray player, 7.1 speaker system (with floorstanding left and right speakers) and 1,330 watts of power. It offers Full HD 1080p video playback and supports HD audio formats such as Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
The HT-C7550W is a 5.1 system with floorstanding front speakers and a brace of wireless rear units while the HT-C6500 is a 1,000-watt 5.1 system with 1GB of built-in storage and like the HT-6730 it has built-in Wi-Fi (the HT-C7550W requires a dongle, sold separately).
