Korean manufacturer of all manner of portable audio and video gear Cowon has announced a new MP3 player, the i9.
Measuring just 43×95×8.9mm and weighing 40g, it’s a compact digital music machine in 8GB or 16GB flavours with a full colour screen that allows you to play games or watch video.
It includes 39 sound settings and comes with an FM radio with recorder, Flash video for downloadable games and a promised battery life of 29hrs for music and seven hours for video.
Cowon claims green credentials for the i9’s packaging too, since it’s designed to be recycled as a flower pot.
The Cowon i9 is available now for £99 (8GB) or £120 (16GB).
