The motorised ‘mMotion’ TV wall bracket from Sweden’s Lava Electronics can turn through an arc of 180 degrees, allowing it to be moved to the ideal viewing angle from almost anywhere in a room.
Of the two models in the mMotion range, the LA 1005 fits all flatscreen TVs from 25-37in and the LA 1010 fits models up to 50in. Lava claims both are ‘universal’ fitting and will accommodate all brands.

The remote controlled bracket can be programmed with preset positions once you’ve worked out your best viewing spots and though a remote control is included, it can also be operated from the TV’s remote control. It swings into the required position when the TV is turned on, returning to its ‘parked’ position when the TV is turned off.
Tony Jones of UK distributor Armour Home said: “The mMotion bracket can be easily installed onto either solid or stud walls, owners can then choose to have their television move through either a left or right handed arc. Because it can rotate up to 180 degrees, mounted in an appropriate position, the TV can even ‘look round corners’ and be viewed from another room.”
The Lava mMotion will be available from December for £179.
