Mobile music specialist Creative has announced a 2.1 system desktop system with Bluetooth connectivity, the Inspire S2.
Designed for use with laptops or mobile phones, the Inspire S2 will connect wirelessly to any PC or mobile with built-in Bluetooth featuring A2DP (the stereo Bluetooth protocol). Computers without Bluetooth can also be connected via USB cable and there’s also a 3.5mm line-in jack for connecting to MP3 players as well as a headphone jack for private listening.
The 33-watt system features two 7wpc satellite speakers measuring 74×73×103mm with two-inch drivers and a 19-watt ‘Direct-Throw’ subwoofer (232×180×200mm) which also contains the amplifier. The sub includes a dial for easy adjustment of the bass level and the system claims a frequency response of 40Hz-20kHz.
The Creative Inspire S2 is available now from Creative’s online shop, price £130. a non-wireless version of the system will set you back £70.
