B&W’s original zeppelin shaped iPod dock impressed just about everyone with its style and sound quality, but the £400 price tag was always going to be a bit steep for some.
The company has now scaled down its offering in the compact shape of the Zeppelin Mini, which offers big sound, 90-degree rotation for iPod touch screen devices and USB connectivity.
The package takes up considerably less space than its predecessor, though B&W claims its compact speakers still offer ‘amazing volume levels for such a diminutive package’.
An updated docking arm allows you to rotate your iPod so you can view it in landscape mode – ideal for browsing your tunes in CoverFlow or watching video.
You can use it as a PC speaker system and sync and charge your iPod at the same time too by connecting to the USB socket.
The B&W Zeppelin Mini will be available from October for £299.
