This action adventure blockbuster grossed more than $494 million worldwide during its theatrical release and was the first movie ever to be released on DVD. Now the terror of Twister can be experienced as never before with a digitally remastered picture and awesome bonus features. The film will be released simultaneously on Blu-ray Disc while making its HD DVD debut on May 27, for an even more intense thrill. The film stars Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton as an estranged couple who are thrill-seeking meteorologists with a passion for chasing tornadoes…those mile-wide, 300 miles-per-hour forces of total devastation.
