TEAC’s latest table-top DAB/FM RDS radio and iPod dock comes in a rather fetching black leatherette covering.
Beneath the stylish finish, the SR-2DAB’s innards are contained in a wooden cabinet, with twin speakers in separate chambers with bass-reflex loading to increase the oomph factor.
The iPod dock on top comes with a range of adapters for most iPod models and there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack and remote control. The ice-blue LCD at the front includes a three-stage dimmer as well as an off setting. There are presets to store your favourite stations as well as two separate alarms, a sleep timer and a range of preset equaliser settings.
The TEAC SR-2DAB is available now for £150. A download of Grace Jones’s Warm Leatherette will cost extra.
