Yamaha Reveal 2009 Product Range: Part One

At a press launch held this week Yamaha revealed their new 2009 range. To prove Yamaha are not taking things for granted a whole new line up including a new multichannel receiver range, some new hi-fi components, high end Soavo speakers and all new PDX/TSX iPod docks which are set to be launched by Apple.

Yamaha have a great heritage and with the new range wanted to show this with their new products.Five new home Cinema receivers are available all with Yamamha’s measured DSP mode and now all with FM tuner function. All priced from £250 to around £800.

Yamaha RX-V365:

5 channels at 100 watts offer 1080p compatible HDMI (2 in/one out), YPAO sound optimisation, compressed music enhancer, Cinema DSP with 8 programmes, Silent Cinema. SRP £250. Available End May 2009.

Yamaha RX-V465:

5 channels at 105 watts, HD audio decoding, 1080p-compatible HDMI (4 in/one out), YPAO sound optimisation, new Scene functionality, 17 Cinema DSP programes. SRP £350. Available End May 2009.

Yamaha RX-V565:

7 channels at 90 watts minimum 115 maximum, HD audio decoding, HDMI (four in/one out), 1080p video upscaling, YPAO sound optimisation, Scene functionality, on-screen display, 17 DSP modes with adaptive DSP level, Silent Cinema and Virtual Cinema. SRP £450. Available End May 2009.

Yamaha RX-V765:

7 channels at 95 watts minimum 145 maximum, HD audio decoding with high-quality discrete amplification circuitry, HDMI (4 in/one out), 1080p video upscaling, ure Direct mode, YPAO sound optimisation, multizone operation, Cinema DSP 3D. SRP £TBC Expected £600. Available July 2009.

Yamaha RX-V1065:

7 channels at 105 watts minimum 155 maximum, HD audio decoding, HDMI (4 in/one out), 1080p video upscaling, new GUI, YPAO sound optimisation, iPod compatibility, Bluetooth A2DP, lip-sync adjustment, Cinema DSP 3D. SRP £TBC Expected £600. Available July 2009.
