The Bristol Sound And Vision Show is only two day away and a host of manufactures will be launching new products at the including Denon, one of the world’s premium AV manufacturers.
This year Denon will be holding the European launch of the DVD-A1UD Universal Blu-ray player. With it’s balanced stereo outputs, “Denon Link 4” and ability to play DVD-Audio as well as SACD, this is the only Blu-ray player of its type.
The DVD-A1UD is due to be available in the UK from the end of March 2009.
Furthermore, Denon will have its full range of current Blu-ray players, a selection of its AV receivers and its award winning D-M37DAB micro system on display.

The DVD-A1UD joins the award-winning reference class *AVP-A1HDA pre-amplifier and the POA-A1HD 10-channel power amplifier in the company’s flagship HD home entertainment system.
The DVD-A1UD lets you play Blu-ray discs at the very highest level but the unit also offers Super Audio CD (SACD), DVD-Audio, DVD-Video and CDs in the impeccable picture and sound quality that is expected from a Denon player. With the combination of the newly developed, proprietary 4th generation Denon Link in conjunction with HDMI transmission technology, digital signals from discs can be transmitted with negligible jitter to produce a pure, high-quality sound, and the world’s first fully-balanced two channel transmission in a Universal Player has been made possible for analogue signals.
Denon is planning to release the new DVD-A1UD across Europe in March 2009 at a suggested retail price of £3,299. It will be available in a premium silver and a black colour finish to add perfectly to either existing Denon AVP-/POA- or AVC-A1HD A/V components, or other manufacturers’ home theatre systems.
