Pioneer announced today a host of new products to it’s line up for 2009 today including new Blu-ray player with live capability and a host of AV Receivers.
Pioneer DV-420V 1080p
A entry level DVD player the new Pioneer DV-420V 1080p upconverting DVD player, which is the first to feature an exclusive MP3 encoding capability for supreme music portability. Combining HDMI connectivity with advanced multi-format playback, Pioneer’s new player is an ideal source device for secondary room settings. Extremely compact in size, the DV-420V features a length of only 16.5-inches providing maximum features in an extremely slim profile for a seamless fit in any room space.
Expect the DV-420V to ship this summer for $90.
Pioneer AV Recievers
Four new AV Receivers were also announced the Pioneer VSX-519V, VSX-819H, VSX-919AH and VSX-1019AH are some of the industry’s first to feature iPhone and iPod certification for enhanced compatibility to the millions of Apple mobile digital devices already sold. In addition to simple ‘plug and play’ connectivity, Pioneer enhances the overall user experience with full color graphic user interfaces including album jacket art as well as multi-zone enjoyment of personal content from any iPod and iPhone when using select receiver models. Pioneer’s new line of A/V receivers elevate the listening experience of compressed audio and lower-quality music files with proprietary sound quality enhancements designed to ensure a dynamic surround listening experience.
Pioneer Live Blu-ray Players
Pioneer will release several new Blu-ray live players this year including two Pioneer BDP-120 and BDP-320 models and the Elite BDP-23FD are outfitted with expandable or built-in memory to deliver on the promise of BD-Live right out of the box. Pioneer’s players combine supreme features, sophisticated internal construction with a rigid chassis design ensuring the highest quality playback of Blu-ray Disc, DVD and CD entertainment. With RS-232, the Elite BDP-23FD offers seamless home automation design that simplifies custom installation projects.
