CEDIA, Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association,have announced a newly elected Region 1 Board of Directors.
A new chairman has been nominated with Steve Martin taken over from Simon Williams who is stepping down after two years in the position and will serve as immediate-past chairman for the next two years. Steve Martin, from CEDIA ESP (Electronic Systems Professional) company Martin Kleiser, takes up the position of CEDIA Chairman, following four years service as a Board member, most recently as Vice Chairman and Education Chair.
New to the Board is Fraser Stride from Leeds-based company, Finite Solutions who takes up the role of Outreach Chair, and Simon Buddle from London-based installation company SMC who will serve as the new Education Chair having being closely involved in CEDIA education for many years.
Robert Hallam of Irish company InControl is the new Vice Chairman whilst Raphael Oberholzer steps down after two years on the board.
The full Board which will serve for a two year period on the new Board (unless otherwise stated) is as follows, with their assigned responsibilities and development tasks:

David Graham (Grahams Hi-fi): Membership Chair
Fraser Stride (Finite Solutions): Outreach Chair
