CEDIA has launched a dedicated site for the CEDIA Awards. The site contains a wealth of information and helpful advice for those intending to participate in next year’s scheme.
The decision to create a microsite for the Awards is recognition of its growing popularity, following the hugely successful 2008 event. The 2009 Awards will build on the momentum created this year, culminating with a black-tie event in a central London venue on Friday 3rd April 2009.
The all important closing date for entries will be Monday 12th January 2009.

The micro-site, which can be found HERE has a wealth of information including a frequently asked questions section. A selection of case studies from CEDIA Awards 2008 winners will also feature on the site, to give an idea of the level of standard expected from entrants.
In order to maximise any awards entry there is a feature entitled ‘hints and tips’, which should give some ideas as to what the judges are looking for, and how to elevate entries to award winning level. A press area will also give an idea of the type of media coverage that can be enjoyed by those who are successful.
Matt Nimmons, Operations Director of CEDIA, says: “This is a great opportunity for consumers to see the award winning work carried out by our members. Following the huge success of the last three years of the CEDIA Awards we thought it was time to give the Awards their own dedicated portal. This means everything that is relevant to the awards can be found in one easily accessible place. We thought it would be beneficial for people to have as much help and advice as possible in order to ensure they represent their installs in the best possible way, for maximum success.”
