BADA AGM Meeting And The BADA Code.

14 juillet 2008

At this years BADA AGM Phil Hansen introduced the association and set out plans for the forthcoming year.

The Demcraft training programme is progressing well, with 50% of members’ shops fully trained (that is all customer facing staff within each shop) and a total commitment from 87% of the membership to be fully trained. The association will aggressively pursue the final stages of training in Demcraft to ensure the 87% compliance is achieved by the end of August 2008.

A new chairman was introduced after Ian Anderson of Billy Vee Sound Systems stepped down and Simon Byles of Infidelity took over and confirmed his commitment to continuing the training objectives of the association with the development of a Visioncraft course and rollout of the already written Salescraft sales training programme. Simon has also set out his vision for enhancing the member benefits available to ensure BADA remains excellent value for money for its members.

The day started with Simon Foy from GfK presenting the market performance figures for the previous 12 months, including the good news that high-end separates have demonstrated growth during the last year. There was also an increase in HDMI cables and Clock Radios!
