Kenwood, now turned 60 but still producing some extremely hot stuff! Here’s a new range of car audio devices : the TRIO series.
Kenwood announced the K-TR10D CD-car stereo, with no more than CD and tuner…Simple but highly refined, the K-TR10D has a lot to offer behind its sober aluminum casing.
The brand guarantees the use of high-end components in the car stereo. Indeed, the D/A converter in the K-TR10D is the WM8740 made by Wolfson. The CD player has a signal-to-noise ratio of 105dB:1kHz. The FM tuner is for Japanese band only, 76~90MHz.
Use the 4 K-TR10A mono amplifiers of 80W each in order to get the best out of the car stereo above. The amplifier uses *Sigma technology which gives the best stereo separation and the amplifier is the L-02A.
You can expect to fork out 3,100$ for the K-TR10D+K-TR10A×2 (2ch set) and 5,100$ for the K-TR10D+K-TR10A×4 (4ch set).
