CES 2006 in Video : Arcam

19 janvier 2006

Arcam decided to be present this year at the CES in Alexis Park, noted for its High-End image, to showcase their products in a comfortable “normal” listening environment. Their "private" rooms for the demonstrations were a pleasant change of pace from the huge Convention floor and provided nice background music for our clip !

The first room was to highlight the Home Theater high-end FMJ range with the company's flagship AV9 pre-amp processor, boasting fully compatible HDMI connections... (see complete details and article HERE) combined with the P7, the 7.1 power amplifier certified THX, and to complete the set-up the DV29.

The second room had on show the rest of their catalogue including their AVP700 AV pre-amp processor as well as its P1000 7-channel power amplifier combo, both part of the DiVA selection. You can see our recent complete article with details on both these products HERE .

The Solo, which we had seen in London last November where it won the What Hi-Fi Award of the Year as the best all-in-one system, had a room to itself, being presented with the Alto compact speakers and new iPod station as a sign of the times !
