Cabasse will introduce "La Sphère" revolutionary concept in Las Vegas

21 décembre 2005

Cabasse has been involved in the research and development of spheric loudspeakers concepts since the years '90. So it won't be a newcomer who will exhibit its latest (prototype?) ball in Las Vegas in January.

As early as the mid-nineties, Cabasse had launched the Atlantis series, which was first demonstrating an innovative concept: a three way coaxial transducer that was crammed into a spheric loudspeaker!

The benefits of such spheric and ambitious conception are theoretically numerous, in terms of efficiency, dependability, and dynamics. Such innovation and the great experience that was drawn from it led to anchor these UFOs in the Hi-Fi, and subsequently multi-channel landscape, with a number of productions directly derived from the original R&D concept. They were also selected for the development of another, very big, this time inside a very big... sphere that you can visit in Paris at the Cite des Sciences: La Geode, a multimax 3D cinema. Cabasse has a story with spheres.

Early in 2006, Cabasse will strike again in Vegas with another revolutionary announcement about the latest development in the so-called coaxial system, a prototype dubbed "La Sphère". THis time, the baby is loaded with a 4-way coaxial "QC55" driver. Cabasse claims a frequency range of 20 Hz to 22000 Hz, as well as an ideal space diffusion.

"La Sphère" will be shown at the T.H.E. next to the CES 2006, Show, Ballroom 3, St Tropez Hotel, 455 E. Harmon Ave.
